Ali and Dan Mizzou Engagement – Missouri Wedding Photographer

When I asked Ali and Dan how they met during our session they said it was nothing special, no  big story, just one of those standard boy meets girl at a party kind of meetings. But after spending the afternoon with them, I can tell you that there is definitely something special about those two.

Ali and Dan’s love for each other just radiates. Each time they’d look at each other they’d break into to sweetest smiles, which made my job pretty easy. I feel so lucky that I get to capture this kind of love.

Because Ali and Dan met at Mizzou, we had to stop by some of the must see landmarks. We started at Memorial Union and then stopped in front of the beautiful ivy alongside the Chancellor’s Residence.

We moved on to the Journalism Archway. If you aren’t familiar with the story, students are supposed to remain completely silent while traveling beneath it. It is said you will fail your next test if you break that rule. Dan once made Ali break that rule while they were still going to Mizzou, but it seems like everything turned out okay, right Ali?

No trip to campus would be complete without stopping by the Quad and then South Hall, a place with very special memories for Ali and Dan.

We completed our day with a little trek to Capen Park. While the climb up to the cliffs was a little perilous, the reward was incredible. The view and the light and the hot air balloon! It was a really magical way to end the evening.

Thank you so much to Ali and Dan for being wonderful. I know your Chicago Wedding is going to be amazing!
