It was a day for friends, family and friends that are more like family. Ken and Angel’s favorite people gathered the Saturday after Thanksgiving and it was clear that the Thanksgiving spirit was still in the air. As everyone gathered at St. Thomas More Parish, the day was filled with smiles, thanks, joy and so much love.

Every detail was chosen with care and love. From Angel’s dress (that was made by her mother!) to the locket attached to her bouquet that had an equally special meaning. Ken’s reaction to seeing his gorgeous bride walking down the aisle made me a bit misty, I have to admit.

While the sky was gray and threatened a storm, the wedding party was nothing but smiles, smiles that would chase any storm away. We rode a trolley around the Mizzou campus and having the most wonderful time. We even made it to Faurot Field at Memorial Stadium, where we threw around a football and Ken and Angel were able to sit in their season seats.
