When Sarah contacted me about taking her senior portraits, I was SO SO excited! I took her sister’s senior photos last year. Madilyn’s senior photos were so fun, so I knew it would be just as fun taking Sarah’s photos. Fun runs in this family!
Sarah, her mom Leigh, and I all met for coffee and we talked about what Sarah wanted for her photos. She wanted the best of both worlds: some urban photos and some a little more in nature. So we started our session on the Mizzou campus and my favorite wall of ivy and then made our way downtown.
I loved this shot we took with a prism. I told Sarah, she looks like a badass babe from a future post-apocalyptic society!
It’s pretty obvious that Sarah loves fashion and design from her awesome outfit choices. While she hasn’t chosen her university quite yet (she still has plenty of time!), Sarah wants to study education and design, which I think are awesome goals.
She was dishing out major model vibes at this cool outdoor amphitheater by the Journalism school.
I have to mention that Sarah was a complete trooper, because it was about 100 degrees the day of our shoot but you can’t even tell! I was sweating bullets, but she was just glowing. So pretty!
After we finished our photos downtown, we made our way to one of my favorite spots in Columbia, Capen Rock Park. Sarah’s orange maxi skirt looked phenomenal on her and really popped in the field full of purple wildflowers!
Our last stop was the creek, which provided a little bit of cool air and some fun water pictures!
Congratulations on your senior year, Sarah! Can’t wait to see where you will end up and what amazing things you will accomplish!
