Corinna + Rudy – DTLA Wedding – Madexposure Photography Los Angeles Wedding Photographer

I’m so excited to be posting this blog! This was such a fun day, full of so many surprises, and I am so happy to be sharing Corinna and Rudy’s gorgeous wedding day.

It’s so crazy to think that I booked this wedding while I was still living in Missouri and now I am in Los Angeles, living my dream. Most of my initial conversations were with Corinna’s wonderful cousin, Brenda, so I wasn’t sure what to expect when I met with Rudy and Cori to nail down final details about their big day. I was elated to find out that they were a sweet, funny and laid back couple who were madly in love. My favorite kind of couple! <3

Their big day started off beautifully with clear skies and nice weather, definitely way nicer than Missouri in February! Cori and Rudy got ready surrounded by friends and family who, like them, were fun and full of jokes and laughter. I loved the girls matching getting ready robes and champagne glass. Perfect little touches.

The mass was just as beautiful as Corinna in her gorgeous dress and cathedral length veil, and, again, full of fun. When the priest asked Cori and Rudy what four letter word brought them together, they said… FOOD! That had the whole church laughing. I think what he may have been going for was LOVE. But both answers are good in my opinion. 😉

After the ceremony we hopped on a bus to take some pictures downtown at the Los Angeles City Hall and boy was that an adventure. Little did we know there was a MASSIVE wine and food festival downtown, blocking traffic in almost every direction. We were able to take photos at the city hall, but unable to make it to our second destination. In an act of quick thinking, the couple decided we could take some photos at the Fourth Street Bridge, which ended up working wonderfully. We got city skyline views at sunset, which was so so beautiful.

The night ended at Luminarias, a gorgeous venue with a view of downtown LA. It was clear that the fun never stopped with this group, as the night filled with music from an amazing live band, a photo booth, amazing food, dancing and still more laughter. What an amazing end to the day.

Congratulations Corrina and Rudy! Thank you for giving me the honor of being your wedding photographer. I wish you so much happiness!
