Lauren + Andrew – Boo Cat Club Wedding – Madexposure Photography Saint Louis Wedding Photographer

I can’t believe that this is my last wedding of 2017! It’s so crazy how quickly this year has gone by and how many amazing couples and people I’ve had the good fortune of working with this year. As always, I will do a year in review post at the end of the year with some of my favorite images, but I just thought I’d take this quick moment to thank Lauren and Andrew and all of the couples that allowed me to be a part of their wedding day.

“I would thank you from the bottom of my heart, but for you my heart has no bottom.”

This post is going up only one day before Thanksgiving, so if you are reading this… Happy Thanksgiving! I thought it was the perfect time to post because Lauren and Andrew have such thankful hearts and such a good group of friends and family that surround them… the true spirit of Thanksgiving.

One of the things I loved about Lauren and Andrew’s wedding day was all of the gorgeous details. From the navy blue tablecloths to the deep crimson bridesmaid dresses to the rose petals and candles lining the aisle of the ceremony, each little piece was chosen with love.

More details we swooned over? Lauren’s pearl and crystal garter, necklace and earrings, her gorgeous ring and geometric gold ring case with matching gold pumps and the matching floral robes that she and her bridesmaids wore while getting ready for the day.

Lauren’s dress was also absolutely stunning. The statement back full of beading had the whole room gasping with delight.

They met for their first look by this gorgeous fountain and I had to stifle some tears as Andrew say his gorgeous bride for the first time.

After the first look, we took a party buss to the Cathedral Basilica of Saint Louis and Lafayette Square Park to take some more photos. While both were crowded, we were able to take some really beautiful photos.

The candles all over the Boo Cat Club really added a romantic touch to the whole evening.

Another special touch: Andrew’s sister, a professional opera singer, sang a completely gorgeous rendition of “Con te partiro

The mercury glass and gold covered book centerpieces really brought each table together.

A gorgeous full moon projected on the wall made a great backdrop for Lauren and Andrew’s romantic reception.

Lauren’s sisters gave a beautiful speech which ended with a flash dance conga line!

Congratulations Lauren and Andrew! Thank you for giving me the honor of being your wedding photographer. I hope you have an amazing set of first holidays as husband and wife!
